このコンテンツについて
Are Friends Electric? I can't be sure, but I do know that some Cars are. Either way, welcome to Will's Displeasure Principle. This is an episode of firsts and seconds for the You're Wondering Now? Podcast. It's my (Will's) first time flying solo, and it's our second season. I am back without a bang talking about the enigma that is Gary Numan. I was fortunate enough to see the penultimate show of his '45th Anniversary Tour', celebrating two of his seminal album 'The Pleasure Principle', and the album 'Replicas' which he did with the Tubeway Army. It took a while, but I did get into it, much like our listeners. Rest assured, normal programming will resume soon, but for now you can fill your ears with the dulcet tones of a man obsessed with synth pop, as well as loathing poodle-faced middle aged men at concerts. Who knows, these concert exploits might become a permanent fixture, if you like? For now, I feel compelled to urge you to give Gazza Numan, arguably one of this country's most slept on musicians, a listen. Cheers!
