In this talk, Ajahn Brahm discusses taking responsibility in life and our beliefs about creation and life after death. He mentions his involvement with the Gravity Center and how Buddhism and science can coexist. He also touches on the importance of using wisdom and not relying solely on prayer to deal with difficult situations. He shares a story about a storm in a forest and relates it to the unpredictability of life and accepting the laws of nature. He also shares a personal experience of surviving a bushfire. Ajahn Brahm talks about staying calm during the bushfires, and the power of social and emotional resilience in helping people recover from tragedies.
