**Community Connection: A Weekend of Music, Mental Health, and Community**

Today on Community Connection with host Tina Cosby, Contributing Analyst, James Patterson and producer Eric Garnes join the conversation as we're gearing up for a busy weekend in Indianapolis, with the Circle City Classic Parade, the UniverSOUL Circus, and Indy Jazz Fest all happening in the city. But amidst all the excitement, we're also tackling some serious issues, including mental health and homelessness. Our listeners shared their concerns and stories, and we're shining a light on the importance of addressing these issues in our community.

The conversation started with a discussion about the upcoming Circle City Classic Parade and the various events happening around the city. But it quickly turned to a deeper conversation about the importance of community and the need for support systems in place for those struggling with mental health and homelessness. Our listeners shared their personal stories and experiences, highlighting the need for more resources and support.

We also talked about the recent merger between Eskenazi Hospital and Community Hospitals, and how it's affecting mental health services in the city. Our listeners shared their concerns about the impact on patients and the community, and we're committed to continuing the conversation.

As we wrap up this episode, we want to encourage our listeners to take action and get involved in their community. Whether it's volunteering, donating, or simply being a listening ear, every small action can make a big difference. Join us next time on Community Connection as we continue to explore the issues that matter most to our community.
