    It's time for another Fave 5 and this time it's with Liana Kangas! Liana was episode 16 of Comics For You on the main timeline. They are an award winning artist, contributing to works like the Eisner Award-winning Godzilla 70th Anniversary Anthology and HBO MAX's Peabody award winning Fantasmas (created by Julio Torres & Irony Point). Alongside franchises like Star Trek and Star Wars, Liana's other work includes creator-owned dark comedy TRVE KVLT, Hugo Long-Listed Know Your Station, and a fantasy sci-fi space opera, She Said Destroy. Their work has been published by almost every comic publisher, as well as film, record labels, independent publishers, and more.

    Today on the show we have not one but two creators coming on in Ethan S. Parker and Griffin Sheridan! They are the pair behind the upcoming blockbuster kaiju book The Horror of Godizilla from IDW Publishing feature some career best work from the incomparable Tristan Jones. They get into rubble about the scale, terror, and triumphs of chronicling the first Godzilla attack on Tokyo. Plus, just last week this team also debuted Surpergirl: Survive over at DC Comics with another generational artist in Rod Reis. Plus, check out their Image Comics series Kill Your Darlings that’s out in collected edition now. Ethan and Griffin get into the uniqueness of being a writing team, the incredible education they got under comic superstars like Brian Michael Bendis, Ryan Stegman, and Matthew Rosenberg. Plus, they get very candid about their anxieties as creators, their work-life balance, and so much more.
