The Kingdom Biblecast, hosts Brother Lawrence Lee and Brother Keith Cannon explore Jesus’ comforting invitation in Matthew 11:28–30:“Then Jesus said, ‘Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.’”
Life’s responsibilities, hardships, disappointments, and uncertainties can leave us physically, emotionally, and spiritually exhausted. Yet Jesus invites us to come directly to Him, lay down our burdens, and receive the rest that only He can provide.
Together, Lawrence and Keith discuss what it means to take Christ’s yoke upon us, learn from His gentle and humble heart, and trust Him during seasons of weariness. His promise does not mean we will never experience difficulties, but it assures us that we never have to carry our burdens alone. When we walk closely with Jesus, He gives us strength for today, hope for tomorrow, and lasting rest for our souls.
