Episode twenty-two of Combust Astrology, joined by Linh, a psychic medium I first met years ago in a tarot group. We talk about how she developed her gift completely from scratch, the difference between human work and spiritual work, and why she believes everyone has to be truly ready before the spiritual side opens up for them. I share some of what's been happening with my own home communicating with me, we get into guides, protective entities, and the difference between working with ancestors versus guides versus imaginary friends. Linh lets me do a live reading on her involving her guide Qilin, we talk about pricing struggles as readers, animal communication, and letting go of pets when it's their time to go. With basically zero earth placements in the sky this month, we talk about what it's actually felt like living through that as an everyday person, not an astrologer. Acacia gets real about feeling ungrounded, learning to sit with her emotions instead of running from them, and what it's like being a Virgo going through a season of shedding and change right before her solar return. I also talk a bit about prioritizing my own safety over being everyone's emotional bridge, and what mediumship has taught me about needing to speak in truth. Short, sweet, and a little unfiltered. We talk about how she built her planner as a tool for actually integrating astrological data into daily life, not just collecting it, and get into the real talk about running an astrology business: burnout, delegating, newsletters, and figuring out what parts of the work you actually love.

Alina and I talk about reciprocity in nature, ancestral veneration, the difference between spirits who show up with good intent and those who don't, and why disconnecting from a reading can sometimes take longer than the reading itself.
