Since the advent of Transaction-brokerage in Colorado, brokers and consumers of real estate services have been able to work together without first signing a listing agreement of any type.
Proper disclosure, then move forward, was the order of business. Those days are gone.
Due to the DOL bill during the most recent legislative session in Colorado, written contracts are now required for all real estate transactions involving a consumer and a broker.
