English Edition: The Institut for Research Software (formerly the Software Sustainability Institute) in the UK can look back on a long tradition of promoting 'better software, better research'. A key element of this is the fellowship. Together with my guests Oscar Seip and Shoaib Sufi (both from the University of Manchester) we explore the history of the fellowship and how it evolved over time.
