What does climate change have to do with your walk with God?

In this episode of We Have A Word, we dive into Ecclesiastes 3:1–15 and explore the idea that there is a season and a time for everything under heaven.

From planting and harvesting to grieving and healing, Scripture reminds us that life is constantly moving through different seasons—and that we don't always get to see the full picture of what God is doing.

Life doesn’t always stay the same. Things happen that we didn’t plan for, understand, or even want. Sometimes we’re growing, sometimes we’re waiting, sometimes we’re grieving, and sometimes we’re just trying to figure out what God is doing.

But how does that connect to climate change?

Just as seasons and conditions can shift in creation, there are also seasons of growth, waiting, healing, letting go, and transformation in our walk with Christ.

This episode is ultimately about learning to recognize the season you're in, trusting God's timing when you can't see what's ahead, and remembering that He makes everything beautiful in its own time. We may not understand the full scope of God's work from beginning to end—but we can trust the One who does.

Climate change becomes more than a conversation about the weather. It's a reminder that change is happening all around us—and that God is still present, purposeful, and sovereign through every season.
