Cleveland’s police force just got a whole lot cuter—and smaller—with the arrival of two miniature horses, Valor and Grace, to their mounted patrol unit. Chosen by kids in the community, these pint-sized equines were meant to bring warmth and connection where larger horses might feel intimidating. A sweet twist? They arrived as a pair—separated for months, then joyfully reunited—highlighting their bond. Funded by a former foundation member who’s also the grandson of the unit’s founder, this initiative feels like a full-circle moment. Once settled, Valor and Grace will patrol neighborhoods and grace community events, helping officers unwind while becoming beloved neighborhood ambassadors.
