Occasionally, people say, are we really in the last days? How do we know? Does it matter one way or another? We will try to answer these questions and many others in this study. But the most important question may be, how can we reach others with hope in these changing times? One part of prophecy is often emphasized over another, causing us to lose perspective and miss the blessing and beauty of prophecy in scripture. I have taken the information in this study from many authors and teachers who have their lives studying God's word. I have added some insight that the Holy Spirit taught me. With God's help, I have endeavored to keep the whole counsel of the word of God in full view to give us an accurate picture of Christ and His great love for a lost world. I pray that this will challenge you and cause you to grow in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ, as it has me preparing it. Let's begin!

Learning to swim at 65 sounds like a quirky goal until you hear what it takes to face the deep end when fear has been rehearsed for decades. We sit down with Sharlene Langner, an artist and first-time children’s book author, to talk about how a COVID-era search for stress relief led her into pool walking, swim lessons, and a new identity: someone who does hard things slowly, consistently, and on purpose.

Sharlene shares the real mechanics of overcoming fear, from resisting pride and starting in the true beginner group to practicing breathing and floating until panic loses its grip. One line in particular reframes the whole experience: if you can swim, you stay on top of the water, so the depth stops deciding your future. That idea becomes the heart of her children’s book, Auntie Shar Learns to Swim, written to help kids recognize fear early and build courage through practice, not perfection.

The conversation also goes far deeper than the pool. Sharlene opens up about a uterine cancer diagnosis, difficult treatment seasons, and what it meant to keep returning to a creative dream when her body and mind felt depleted. We talk about finding faith in Jesus through community, accepting practical support like a meal train, and experiencing baptism in rough ocean waves as a moment of trust and release. If you’re looking for an inspirational story about resilience, Christian hope, and finishing what you start, this one will stay with you.

  • Europe On Fire And The Spirit Behind It

Europe looks like it’s on fire, and if you only follow the headlines you can miss what’s really driving the chaos. We take a hard look at the unrest, the sudden shift from legitimate demonstrations to organized destruction, and why the same patterns keep showing up across nations. For us, this isn’t just politics or economics. It’s a clash over order, truth, and the spiritual foundation of the West.

We dig into the idea of the Great Rebellion as one of the clearest end times signs happening in real time. That rebellion isn’t framed as a fight for “fairness,” but as an upheaval meant to tear down what exists and prepare a new foundation for the Antichrist. We also talk about strategy: influence requires followers, and lawlessness spreads fastest when enough people are willing to join in, excuse it, or look away.

To ground it, we read directly from Isaiah 24 and connect it with Paul’s warning in 2 Thessalonians 2 about the secret power of lawlessness already at work. Then we bring it into everyday life with a blunt take on social media, the damage done by careless words, and why truth telling is not optional for believers.

If you care about Bible prophecy, spiritual warfare, and understanding the times without getting lost in hype, this conversation will give you a clearer framework. Subscribe, share this with a friend, and leave a review, and tell us: where do you see the spirit of lawlessness showing up most right now?

  • Revelation’s Throne Room
    2026/10/17

Revelation is not a codebook for internet predictions, and it’s definitely not a place to cherry-pick symbols to fit today’s news cycle. I’m Russ Scalzo, and I recorded this teaching because I keep seeing the same pattern online: “I got a vision,” “I got a word,” and then a confident timeline that skips right past what the Bible actually says. If we want clarity, we have to start where Revelation starts: with the unveiling of Jesus Christ in glory and God addressing the church before the world-changing judgments begin.

We move carefully through Revelation 4 and Revelation 5, where John is brought into heaven’s throne room and everything centers on worship, authority, and holiness. Then the tension rises with the sealed scroll. No one is worthy, John weeps, and suddenly the Lion of Judah appears as a Lamb who was slain. That moment matters because it frames the rest of end times prophecy: Jesus alone takes the scroll, and heaven calls him worthy because he ransoms people for God from every nation and makes them a kingdom of priests.

Finally, we step into Revelation 6 and the opening of the first seals, including the rider on the white horse. I explain why that figure is not Jesus, how the Antichrist mimic fits the sequence, and why claims about “where we are right now” must line up with Jesus’ own words. If you want a steadier, Scripture-first approach to Revelation, listen through and then subscribe, share the episode, and leave a review so more people can find it.
