  • When Life Isn't Fair
    2026/04/20

Welcome to Christ Community's Online Service!

What do you do when life just isn’t fair?

In this message from 1 Peter 2, we explore how to respond to injustice as followers of Jesus. Instead of reacting with anger or giving up, we’re invited into a different way—one marked by endurance, trust, and radical love. Looking to Jesus as our example, we discover that even in the middle of unfair circumstances, God sees us, walks with us, and is ultimately making all things right.

  • Easter 2026, A Resurrected Identity
    2026/04/06

Welcome to Christ Community's Online Service!

Why does the resurrection actually matter in real life?

In this message, we look at the life of Jesus Christ through the story of Peter the Apostle and discover how the resurrection doesn’t just inspire belief—it transforms identity. From fear and failure to freedom and purpose, Peter’s story shows how a “resurrected identity” can change everything.

Because Jesus is alive, you are fully known, fully loved, and invited to live in a living hope today.

  • Between Expectation and Fulfillment
    2026/03/30

Welcome to Christ Community's Online Service!

This Palm Sunday message explores how we respond when life—and even God—doesn’t meet our expectations. Looking at 1 Peter 1:10–12, we’re reminded that unmet expectations don’t have to lead to disappointment or distance from God, but can instead draw us closer into Him, reshape our purpose, and invite us to rediscover the wonder of our salvation. As we enter Holy Week, this message encourages us to wrestle honestly, serve faithfully, and trust God in the waiting.

  • Our Identity Together
    2026/03/23

Welcome to Christ Community's Online Service!

In a world where so many people feel like they don’t belong, where do we find our true identity?

In this message from our Lenten series in 1 Peter, we explore the powerful truth of who we are together in Christ. Writing to believers who felt like outsiders, Peter reminds them—and us—that our belonging isn’t found in culture, preferences, or performance, but in something far more secure.

This message invites us to step out of the fragile identities the world offers and into the unshakable identity we have in Jesus—an identity that transforms how we live, love, and relate to one another.

No matter where you’ve come from or how you’ve been feeling, you belong to something bigger, stronger, and more meaningful than you may realize.

  • Born Again to Love
    2026/03/09

Welcome to Christ Community's Online Service!

Spiritual growth isn’t just measured by how often you pray, read your Bible, or attend church—it’s revealed in how deeply you love others. In this message from 1 Peter 1:22–2:3, Pastor Alan explores Peter’s call to “love one another deeply, from the heart,” showing that genuine spiritual maturity is rooted in relationships. As followers of Jesus, we already have the capacity to love well, but we must continually uproot the enemies of love and look to Jesus to meet our deepest needs. This sermon is a powerful reminder that when our hearts are nourished by Christ, we are freed to love others with sincerity, grace, and depth.

  • A Ransomed Life
    2026/03/02

Welcome to Christ Community's Online Service!

What if your deepest freedom isn’t found in doing whatever you want—but in remembering who you truly are?

In this message from 1 Peter 1:17–21, we explore what it means to be redeemed—ransomed not with silver or gold, but with the precious blood of Christ. Peter reminds weary believers (and us) that our identity is not rooted in performance, approval, or success, but in the finished work of Jesus.

Because we are redeemed, we are freed to live in reverent awe, freed from empty and inherited patterns of the past, and freed to anchor our hope in a living and loving God.

When your value is already settled at the cross, you don’t have to live to prove you matter—you’re finally free to live.
