  • When Foxes Run: Preparing the Vineyard for Revival · R7: Remain in His Presence
    2025/10/05

In this final message of the When Foxes Run series, Pastor JT closes the journey of renewal with a call to abide. Rhythm 7 is: Remain in His Presence. From Song of Solomon 2:15, the very first (and title track) passage of the series, we observed that revival begins when we become intentional to catch the foxes that spoil the vineyard (our walks with Christ). In Luke 13:31–35, however, Jesus shows that revival lasts when we rest under His wings.

As “that fox” Herod plots and people eventually resist, Jesus reveals the heart of God’s mission: unstoppable, unshakable, and unchanging. The same Savior who faced the foxes now invites us to abide—remaining rooted in His Word, resting under His shelter, and trusting His unstoppable plan.

Through this passage, we see three realities that call us to remain in Christ’s presence today:

    1. Opposition to the MissionFoxes may prowl, but they will never prevail against God’s plan.
    2. Resolve in the MissionThe fox may scheme, but God’s “I must” will always stand.
    3. Fulfillment of the MissionFoxes scatter, but the Hen always gathers—if we are willing to abide under the shelter of His wings.

  • When Foxes Run: Preparing the Vineyard for Revival · R6: Reignite the Flame
    2025/10/05

R6 is Reignite the Flame! In this sixth rhythm of spiritual renewal, Pastor Jon Tyler White walks us through Luke 9:57–62, where three would-be disciples encounter Jesus’ uncompromising call to follow Him. Each one has a desire—but each also has an excuse. Jesus responds with a challenge that still confronts our hearts today: “No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for the kingdom of God.”

Throughout this passage, we learn that spiritual fire fades not only through sin, but through comfort, delay, and distraction.

To reignite the flame, we must count the cost, embrace the urgency, and refuse divided loyalties. Following Christ means laying down comfort for the cross, saying “yes” to Him now—not later—and fixing our eyes on the Savior who gave it all for us.

  • When Foxes Run: Preparing the Vineyard for Revival · R5: Restore What Was the Lord
    2025/09/21

In this message, Pastor Jon Tyler White walks through us through one of the most explosive scenes in Samson’s life — a man so blinded by anger that he burns down an entire harvest to prove a point. Samson believed vengeance would make him blameless, but instead it spread devastation.

We see that same deception in our own hearts: “This time I’m right. This time it’s justified.” Yet retaliation never restores; it only ruins.

Through Judges 15:3–6, we discover the fifth rhythm of spiritual renewal: Restore What Was Lost.

When we stop justifying revenge and start practicing reconciliation, the Spirit begins to heal what bitterness has burned. Jesus shows us a better way — not retaliation, but restoration; not revenge, but redemption.
