    Amanda Anisimova ends Sabalenka's hopes of winning her 1st slam of the year and her 1st Wimbledon title, in a compelling 3 setter which had everything, she will face Iga Swiatek in both of their 1st Wimbledon finals as she dismantles Belinda Bencic 6-2, 6-0 with unbelievable front running tennis!     A relatively uneventful day on the women's side of things as all of the matches were completed in straight sets, with the following Quarter-finals being set-up:

    • Swiatek vs Samsonova

  • Wimbledon Day 7: Electronic Line Calling fails, Alcaraz, Sabalenka through as Norrie wins in 5!

    SET 1:


    Pavlyuchenkova beats Kartal in straight sets in a match headlined by Electronic Line Calling controversy to set up a meeting with Anisimova in the Quarters after she beat Noskova in a tight 3 setter. Sabalenka plays well to beat an in form Elise Mertens in straight sets, setting up an unexpected clash with Laura Siegmund who got the better of the lucky loser Solana Sierra.


    SET 2:

    Cam Norrie beats Jarry in 5 to set up a Quarter-final clash with Carlos Alcaraz in a few days time as Fritz advances courtesy of a retirement from Thompson in the 2nd set to book a spot in the Quarters against Khachanov who was played some ruthless tennis to beat the crafty Kamil Majchrzak in a comfortable straight setter!


    We also preview and predict Day 8 at the Championships!
