Joy Taylor recaps the Chiefs’ 2-0 start after a Monday night win over the Colts, praising a “dynasty reawakening” led by Patrick Mahomes (300+ yards, three TDs), Travis Kelce (100 yards, TD), and Kenneth Walker III (100+ rushing yards in his second straight game), with the defense doing enough; she notes KC’s upcoming games at Miami and Las Vegas before a bye and gives the Colts credit despite starting 0-2. She then highlights Atlanta’s struggles at quarterback with Cooper Rush and rookie Jack Strand, the Falcons being 0-2 and lowest scoring, and Michael Penix set to debut Thursday vs. Green Bay after rehabbing a knee injury. Finally, she argues for grass fields and more enclosed/retractable-roof stadiums, citing a lightning delay in Tampa Bay-Cleveland and reports of cleats melting on 157-degree turf in Tennessee, emphasizing player safety and consistent league standards.
