Chad’s two biggest obsessions are Pokémon and Magic: The Gathering, but his collection goes way beyond that. We get into collecting, gaming, the stories behind some of his favorite pieces, and what keeps him hooked on the hobby.

Outside of the nerd world, Chad is also a serious chef and entrepreneur. He founded Legacy Barbecue in Columbus, Ohio, bringing authentic Texas-style barbecue to the Midwest, and most recently took his cooking on the road, catering for Garth Brooks and his crew in Chicago.

From smoking meat to ripping Pokémon packs and collecting Magic cards, Chad has built a life around the things he genuinely loves.
