This podcast is our unfiltered, unsolicited take on motherhood. While parenting is often sold as sunshine and rainbows, real life looks more like thunderstorms, emotional tsunamis, and the occasional hurricane, with a rainbow showing up sometimes.

This is for moms who love their kids but also love honest, sarcastic, say-it-out-loud conversations about the chaos, pressure, and unrealistic expectations of motherhood. No perfection. No toxic positivity. The moms who are tired of the “do it all gracefully” narrative. Just real talk, real laughs, and moments that make you say, “Yep, that’s me.”

In this episode, we're catching up on summer so far, reliving our glorious bestie spa day (10/10, highly recommend), and reminding ourselves what it feels like to be relaxed... even if it was only for a few hours.

Then we dive headfirst into one of the internet's most exhausting debates: Who eats first, the man or the kids? We honestly can't believe we're even discussing it, but somehow this conversation resurfaces every year on Beyoncé's internet. So naturally, we had to weigh in, call out the toxicity, and add a little common sense to the conversation.

As always, expect plenty of laughs, a few side quests, and the kind of unfiltered opinions you'd hear if you were sitting at the table with us.

Grab a snack and join the conversation... preferably while the kids aren't asking you for a bite every 30 seconds.

    Welcome back to Chasing Sanity.

In this episode, we tackle a more serious side of motherhood as we talk about baby blues, postpartum rage, and everything in between. We keep it real about what these experiences can actually look like, how long they can last, and some of the signs that are often overlooked, especially in Black women.

We also get honest about breastfeeding and the harsh reality that just because you can breastfeed doesn't mean it's easy. From supply struggles and physical discomfort to the emotional toll, we discuss the challenges that don't always get talked about enough.

Too often, moms are expected to push through, while their feelings are dismissed or ignored. We talk about why these conversations matter, how we can better support one another, and why asking for help should never be seen as a weakness.

While this is one of our more serious episodes, we still manage to find moments to laugh through the chaos, because sometimes humor is the only thing keeping us sane.

If you've ever felt overwhelmed, unseen, or like you were carrying more than anyone realized, this episode is for you.

In this episode, we explore the pressures moms often place on themselves, the expectation to do it all, the guilt of putting ourselves first, and the challenge of maintaining our identity beyond motherhood. We discuss what truly counts as “me time,” the journey of “getting our pink back,” and the career guilt many working moms face as they balance ambition, family, and personal fulfillment. Join us as we challenge unrealistic expectations, embrace self-care without guilt, and remind ourselves that taking care of ourselves isn’t selfish…it’s essential.
