Of course, they are completely & utterly wrong.

But in this podcast, we play them at their own game.

We institute the Charlton Adjusted ladder. There will be a variation to manner in which points are awarded.

Charlton will play newly promoted Lincoln City, Cardiff City & Bolton Wanderers on their merits.

West Ham, Wolves & Burnley are to beat Charlton by at least two goals to register a win. It is what they would want & expect to do.

The balance of the clubs must beat Charlton to score points. A draw is not sufficient.

In the course of the season, we will also institute the "Flanagan Hales" medal for the best & fairest Charlton player of the year.

    The experts (the same who picked Charlton for relegation) thought that was generous.

    The fact that Charlton had won first up, had recruited well and had a manager suited for the contest - apparently mattered little.

    So what would be the outcome for the most under appreciated, under estimated, under the radar team from South East London on their trip to the London Stadium ??????

    The 2026 /27 Charlton Adjusted preseason has now concluded.

    Nathan Jones says ..... somewhat disjointed.

    The fans say ..... somewhat successful.

    New signings like Mesik, Grant, Koumetio, Alli & McNamara add to the squad.

    Scratching beneath the surface reveals the result against Reading was in fact a surprisingly strong outcome. Much confidence to be gained.

    The new season is almost upon us. A Carabao Cup match to come against Cheltenham Town which should give a good indication of the progress of the team.

    It's exciting to be an Addick .............. the year Charlton Adjusted takes on the rest of the World and establishes its rightful place in the Championship League.
