We institute the Charlton Adjusted ladder. There will be a variation to manner in which points are awarded.

Charlton will play newly promoted Lincoln City, Cardiff City & Bolton Wanderers on their merits.

West Ham, Wolves & Burnley are to beat Charlton by at least two goals to register a win. It is what they would want & expect to do.

The balance of the clubs must beat Charlton to score points. A draw is not sufficient.

In the course of the season, we will also institute the "Flanagan Hales" medal for the best & fairest Charlton player of the year.

    After the three week international break, Championship League Football resumes with the Addicks hosting the Robins at the Valley.

    Charlton boasting its new 4 2 3 1 formation.

    How successful would that be?. How long would it last?. That may very well have been answered in the Bristol City fixture.

    This week, Charlton take on the revived Burnley team in an away game ........ which provides a sense of foreboding ...... but there is a plan (which will disclose, so long as you keep it to yourself).

    This weekend the Championship League resumes after the International break.

    There are four matches in the balance of October 2026, in quick succession starting with Bristol City at the Valley. This run of games may well be season defining.

    It is hard to find meaningful analysis of Charlton Adjusted's prospects, with much of the mainstream media, betting outlets and podcasts shamefully ignoring Charlton or relegating them to second rate status. The estimate of the % media coverage of Charlton compared to other Championship League clubs is in the order of 1.73%. It reflects poorly on those organisations and journalist's and goes to the issue of respect for the competition and the club as well as their overall worth.

    The trip to Wales was not a happy one. The recently promoted Cardiff City made short work of the Addicks. Fair play to them.

    Tyreece Campbell scored again, Arthur Okonkwo saved CA from a 9-1 defeat and Josh Edwards made a return (brief though it was).

    The International break has come at a good time. Time to regroup and "go again"

    8 matches, 12 points ........ on track to avoid relegation ........... much to the chagrin of Bet 24/7.
