Charlotte FC stands 5th in MLS with a 12-7-8 record. After a gritty 1-1 draw with St. Louis CITY SC, key roster battles emerge. Ashley Westwood's passing volume masks midfield lethargy, while Pep Biel's lack of shots (only 2 vs St. Louis) raises questions about his starting role.

Kristijan Kahlina faced 10 shots on target against St. Louis, highlighting defensive vulnerabilities. Tim Ream's retirement from the US national team adds emotional weight but may boost his club focus. Division rivals Philadelphia and Chicago offer contrasting benchmarks for Charlotte's playoff push.

Hosts Megan and Steve debate whether Westwood should move forward or stay deep. They predict 12 wins and a playoff berth, likely as a road team. Key topics include midfield transitions, goalkeeper fatigue, and potential roster cuts for the final MLS stretch.
