Text: Revelation 1:1-8

Before we can hear what Revelation says, we need to settle whether we trust the one saying it. Revelation 1:1–8 answers that question with a sweeping portrait of the God who speaks: eternal, all-powerful, faithful, the ruler over every earthly authority, the one who loved us and freed us and is coming again. As we begin this journey through Revelation together, the invitation is to come with open hands — ready to receive whatever God wants to show us, and willing to release whatever would get in the way.

This week we cover the final gifts in our survey: Discernment, Word of Knowledge, Healings, Miracles, Prophecy, and Tongues and Interpretation. We close the series with a reminder that gift identification is meant to lead somewhere: not to self-knowledge for its own sake, but to faithful, humble service in the specific ways God has personally and intentionally equipped each of us.

This week we continue our survey of individual spiritual gifts, covering ones that have less overlap with natural talent and may be less familiar: Pastor/Shepherd, Apostle, Artisanship, Intercession, Word of Wisdom, and Faith. These are gifts that don't always fit neatly into church programs or ministry schedules, but they are no less essential — and every one of them is a good gift from God, given to be used for the common good, not hidden away or merely admired.

Along the way we explore what makes even the most "ordinary-looking" gifts genuinely supernatural, and why every one of them — including the ones nobody sees — is an essential and valued part of how God works through his Church.

In 1 Corinthians 12, Paul uses the image of a human body todescribe what the Church is meant to be — and what we're missing when we don't live like it. This message explores three implications of our connection to one another in Christ: the essential diversity that means every person is needed, the essential unity that means we all need each other, and the necessary mutuality that calls us to care for one another and reach out together to a world that needs what only the Body of Christ can offer.

Text: 2 Corinthians 9:5-15

In these verses, Paul doesn't just tell the Corinthians to give — he works to build in them the genuine desire to give, laying out four motivations that move from the practical to the profound. From the principle of sowing and reaping, to meeting real needs, to becoming part of someone else's story of answered prayer, to responding out of sheer gratitude for the indescribable gift of Jesus — this message invites us to find our own "want-to" for generous giving.
