What will be different in someone else's life because you chose to trust God?

In Hebrews 11, we read about three extraordinary men: Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph. Each lived a remarkable life filled with moments of faith, challenges, and encounters with God. Yet when Scripture remembers them, it highlights something unexpected. Their faith wasn't just about what God would do in their lives. It was about what they were leaving for those coming after them.

In this message, Pastor Trevor Hersey explores what it means to leave an inheritance that goes far beyond money or possessions. Through Scripture, personal stories, and practical examples, we'll discover how our material resources, experiences, generosity, and relationship with Jesus can become something that blesses people we may never even meet.

Because someone else's faith helped get us where we are today. The question is, what are we doing to help those coming behind us?

What if something you've been calling a test from God was never sent by God in the first place? It's a question worth asking, because how we understand the tests of life shapes how we see God, especially when life gets painful. Looking at Abraham's journey from Genesis 12 to Genesis 22, we discover something fascinating about the faith he developed, what he learned about God's character, and why that mattered when he faced one of the most difficult moments of his life.

Not every test comes from the same place, and not every test looks like hardship. There are tests that come through trials, spiritual attacks, temptation, success, and even the people in our lives. But what does it actually look like when God tests us? And could the answer have less to do with what we're going through and more to do with what we've already learned about Him? Wherever life finds you right now, this conversation will challenge how you understand testing, how you see your Heavenly Father, and what it means to trust Him in the middle of it all.

What happens when the faith you've heard about your entire life becomes something you actually have to live out for yourself? It's one thing to believe God is faithful when everything is going well, but what about when prayers seem unanswered, circumstances aren't changing, and you're wondering what God is doing? In this message, Pastor Trevor Hersey walks through Hebrews 11 and challenges us to examine whether we're simply familiar with faith or actually living by it. From learning to recognize God's voice to discovering how faith belongs in every season of life, this message explores what it means to stop relying on someone else's relationship with God and begin owning your faith.

But there's a question that takes this conversation even deeper: What if God never does the thing you're believing Him to do? Would you still trust Him? The heroes of Hebrews 11 faced that very reality, yet they died still believing because they understood something we can easily lose sight of: there's more to this life than this life. Through Scripture, we'll explore the kind of faith that refuses to give up, why eternity changes the way we approach today, and the incredible promise Jesus has made about what awaits us beyond this life. Because owning your faith isn't just about how you live today. It's about who you're trusting with forever.
