Dancing and Community: Could a few small changes completely transform your dancing?

This week on the Dance Inspiration Podcast, Liz and Mark are joined by Ceroc Inspire teacher Nic Lewis to explore the art of leading and following in Ceroc and modern jive dancing.

Nic shares the inspiration behind her Mastering the Art of Leading and Mastering the Art of Following workshops, designed to help dancers of all abilities develop their technique, confidence and connection with their dance partners.

From subtle changes in hand positioning and body alignment to understanding why moves sometimes go wrong, we discover how improving the little things can make a big difference to your dancing.

We also chat about what makes Nic's workshops different, with practical activities, plenty of laughter and a relaxed, friendly atmosphere that reflects the wonderful Ceroc dance community.

Mark shares his own experience of attending the leading workshop, while Nic explains why even experienced dancers can discover something new about their dancing.

And there's exciting news for 2027, with two further workshops in development, Mastering the Art of Connection and Mastering the Art of Musicality.

Whether you're just starting your dancing journey, looking to improve your partner dancing or have been part of the Ceroc community for years, this episode offers plenty of inspiration.

Join us for another Dance Inspiration Podcast from Ceroc Inspire, celebrating dancing, learning and the community that brings us all together.
