このコンテンツについて
This month on Carl the Human the Podcast, Carl is talking to humans who realized that they needed to be on a different path in order to show the world their true selves. This week, we talk to LAZOU, a fellow human with a fascinating story about simply being her authentic self.
LAZOU is a Sino-Mauritian, Canadian and American songwriter, artist, music producer and podcaster. Growing up in Mauritius, exclusive home to the Dodo bird, she is fluent in English, French and Mauritian Creole. In her music, writing and podcasting, she loves to explores the nuances of the human existence, the interesting ways in which our experiences are so similar to each other, yet so unique. She is a big proponent of body neutrality and believes that there is more to life than finding yourself attractive. When she is not in the studio, she is taking care of her organic garden. She was probably a fruit bat in a previous life and can probably be bribed with lychees & longans. She is the host of the podcast Nuances: Beyond first impressions with the Asian diaspora (nuancespod.com). You can find out more about her music and other projects at linktr.ee/itslazou
Thanks to LAZOU for allowing me to use her song, "Sidelines Aren't For You" to close out this episode. There may not be a better theme song for this entire month.
