On this episode of Out of the Basement, host Levi Hummon welcomes his brother, Caney Hummon, a Nashville-based visual artist, Pokémon collector, anime enthusiast, and all-around nerd!

Caney serves as the Artist in Residence at the Center for Contemplative Justice in Nashville, bringing his creativity and unique artistic perspective to the community.

The brothers dive into growing up in a creative family, Caney’s journey as a visual artist, their shared love of nerd culture, and everything from Pokémon collecting to anime and the power of creative expression.

It’s a fun, personal conversation about family, creativity, finding your passion, and embracing your inner nerd.
