PART 1 OF A 2-PART EPISODE

Healing Family… Part One is here. 🦋

And I’m going to tell you now: this conversation dealt with me before I ever sat down to share it with you.

How many times have we prayed:

“God, show me.”
“Lord, tell me what to do.”
“Just give me one more confirmation…”

But what happens when God has already answered?

What happens when the issue isn’t that we haven’t heard Him—but that what He said requires surrender, discipline, courage, or change?

There are times when we genuinely need discernment. We need to pray. We need wisdom. We need to make sure our emotions aren’t speaking louder than God.

But there are other times when, deep down…

we already know.

We know the boundary.
We know what needs to be released.
We know the apology that needs to be made.
We know the habit God has been confronting.
We know where self-control is needed.
We know what we’ve been procrastinating.
We know what needs to start—and sometimes what needs to stop.

And eventually the question becomes:

📖 James 1:22 KJV
“But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.”

📖 John 14:15 KJV
“If ye love me, keep my commandments.”

📖 Proverbs 3:5–6 KJV
“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding…”

Tonight, we begin unpacking The Confirmation Loop, the cost of obedience, control, comfort, attachment, approval, and the difference between truly needing clarity and hoping God will change His answer.

And Healing Family, because this conversation became much deeper than I anticipated, Episode 1 has been divided into two parts.

Healing Family...

Tonight we bring this beautiful journey to a close.

Over these past weeks we've talked about healing, becoming, patience, grace, and the quiet work God does within us long before anyone else can see it.

If there's one thing I hope you leave with tonight, it's this:

God has not given up on you.

The same God who began a good work in you is still faithfully completing it.

Maybe your growth feels slow.
Maybe your prayers seem unanswered.
Maybe you're wondering if you're making any progress at all.

Please don't confuse slow growth with no growth.

Roots grow before fruit appears.

Tonight's episode is a reminder that God's faithfulness isn't measured by how quickly things change—it's revealed through His constant presence in every season.

As I step away for a few days to rest, reflect, and thank God for another year of His faithfulness, I leave you with this encouragement:

🤍 Keep opening your Bible.
🤍 Keep praying.
🤍 Keep choosing grace.
🤍 Keep trusting God's timing.
🤍 Keep taking one faithful step at a time.

The ministry may be taking a short pause, but our God never stops working.

Sometimes the greatest evidence of God's work in us isn't found in our emotions...

It's found in our obedience.

The love God is developing in you should outlast the emotions you're feeling today.

Tonight we'll talk honestly about choosing grace when it's difficult, remaining patient when it's uncomfortable, and allowing God's love to shape our responses instead of our feelings.

Because becoming more like Christ isn't about how we feel in the moment...

It's about how we choose to walk when the moment is hard.

This teaching is being shared over two evenings so we can truly sit with what God is saying.
