Can America solve its biggest problems if we haven't correctly diagnosed what is actually broken?
In Episode 95, Matt Davis sits down with author and entrepreneur Henryk A. Kowalczyk, whose new book, “Can America ever be great again?”, approaches government and public policy less like an ideological battle and more like an engineering problem.
Born in Poland and shaped by life under socialism, Henryk published political writing during the communist era before censorship blocked his second book in 1981. After immigrating to the United States, he became an entrepreneur while continuing to study the systems that cause nations to prosper, stagnate, or decline.
Matt and Henryk explore political division, government centralization, immigration, healthcare, taxation, education, government spending, personal responsibility, local decision-making, and what history can teach Americans about repairing institutions without simply repeating partisan arguments.
They also discuss how AI and civic technology could give ordinary citizens new ways to participate in developing public-policy solutions, including Henryk’s experience testing his own ideas through the Federal Policy Producer.
The goal isn't to determine whether an idea is Republican or Democratic. It's to ask better questions, challenge assumptions, diagnose problems honestly, and explore solutions that might actually work.
Humans Create. AI Enhances. Humans Decide.
Truth isn’t partisan—it’s patriotic.
