• Judging Rightly - John 7:14-24
    2026/07/05

Jesus' opponents in John 7 don't really challenge what He taught, they challenge His right to teach it at all. Where'd He get His learning? Who trained Him? Last Sunday we looked at how Jesus answered that challenge, not by defending Himself, but by pointing to the Father who sent Him and exposing the unbelief underneath their questions. It's a good passage to ask ourselves: are we weighing the substance of what Jesus says, or just sizing Him up by the wrong measure?

  • No One Spoke - John 7:10-13
    2026/06/28

When you read your Bible, you discover that what you believe about Jesus matters, not just for today, but for eternity. In John 7:10-13, Jesus goes up to the feast privately while the crowds mutter about Him: some say "He is a good man," others say He's leading people astray, and no one dares speak openly for fear of the Jews. This message will challenge you to examine the same question those crowds faced, what do you truly believe about Jesus, and challenges you to speak His name plainly, without fear, no matter the cost.

  • Not Yet Time - John 7:1-9
    2026/06/21

When you read your Bible, you discover that God doesn't work the way we would. In John 7:1-9, Jesus' own brothers press Him to make a big splash at the Feast of Booths, show your power, get some followers, but Scripture is clear: not even His brothers believed in Him. Jesus' answer, "My time has not yet come," reveals a Savior fully submitted to the Father's timetable, not to the world's pressure for popularity. This message calls us to examine ourselves, are we truly believers, or just familiar with Jesus, and to learn from Christ to trust and obey God's Word above our own ways.

  • Nowhere Else - John 6:67-71
    2026/06/14

In last Sunday's message from John 6:67-71, we saw where Jesus turns to His twelve disciples after many followers have walked away and asks, "You do not want to leave too, do you?" Through Peter's remarkable answer, "Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life", we were challenged to examine our own devotion to Christ and reminded that there is no better place to be than with Jesus, the Holy One of God, who alone holds the words of eternal life. • Turned Back - John 6:60-66
    2026/06/07

With this sermon in John 6:60-66 we found many of Jesus' disciples turning back and no longer walking with Him. Just as someone might dive into assembling something without reading the instructions, convinced they can figure it out on their own, there were many following Jesus who wanted the miracles, wanted a king, but had no real intention of submitting to His words. Jesus' teaching that they must eat His flesh and drink His blood wasn't hard to understand, it was hard to receive, because their hearts were hard. This sermon is a challenge to all of us: are we truly following Jesus, or are we just following Him around waiting for the next miracle?

  • The Living Bread - John 6:51-59
    2026/05/31

In this message from John 6:51-59, titled "The Living Bread," we continue our study in the Gospel of John. Jesus calls himself the living bread, the bread He will give for the life of the world is his own flesh. The crowd disputes among themselves, and their confusion only reveals the deeper problem: hearts that are hard and sight that is darkened. We learn here what Jesus really means when he calls us to eat his flesh and drink his blood, why this is all about faith in Christ crucified, and why so many spend their whole lives eating sawdust when the living bread is right in front of them. • Blind Unbelief - John 6:41-50
    2026/05/24

In this message from John 6:41-50, titled "Blind Unbelief," we continue our study in the Gospel of John. Jesus has declared Himself the bread of life, but rather than believing, the crowd grumbles. They think they know exactly who Jesus is, and that's precisely the problem. We'll see why their disbelief is never just intellectual, what it means that the Father must draw a person to Christ, and why the call to repent and believe is both real and urgent. Listen to or watch the full message now.

  • Look and Live - John 6:34-40
    2026/05/17

Last Sunday we continued our study through the Gospel of John, picking up in John 6:34-40. The crowd that witnessed the feeding of the five thousand is still missing it, still thinking Jesus is talking about bread for their stomachs. And Jesus doesn't back down or soften the message. He says plainly, "I am the bread of life." Not "I give" the bread of life, I am the bread of life. The invitation Jesus gave that day is still standing: come to me, be accepted, be kept, be raised. Listen to the audio or watch the video now.
