Sunday 6th September 2026 - This Sunday we hear from guest speaker Ken Baird speaking out of Psalm 15 and Romans 8:28, reflecting on the life of Joseph. Ken reminds us that even when we feel forsaken, falsely accused, forgotten or overlooked, God has not abandoned us, and He is still working for good in the lives of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. Through Joseph’s story, we are encouraged not simply to visit God’s presence, but to live there, trusting His purpose in every chapter of life.

Sunday 30th August 2026 - This Sunday we conclude our Formed in the Wilderness series. Pastor Nate speaks out of Exodus 19, reflecting on Israel meeting God at Mount Sinai and the purpose of the wilderness journey. Nate reminds us that God rescues His people, brings them near, forms them as His treasured possession, and calls them to live as a holy people who reflect His goodness and glory to the world.

Sunday 23rd August 2026 - This Sunday we return to our Formed in the Wilderness series. Pastor Nate speaks out of Exodus 18 on The End of Doing It All, reflecting on Jethro’s advice to Moses and reminding us that God never intended us to carry every burden alone. Nate encourages us to recognise our limits, receive the Holy Spirit as our helper, and live as a Spirit-empowered community who bear one another’s burdens and witness to God’s goodness.

Sunday 16th August 2026 - This Sunday we hear from Sebastian Pinn speaking on From Fleshly Desire to Love Divine out of Colossians 3:1-17. Sebastian reflects on Paul’s call to those who have been raised with Christ to set their hearts on Him, put off the old self, and put on compassion, forgiveness, love and thankfulness, shining as people made new in Christ.

Sunday 9th August 2026 - This Sunday is Baptism Sunday. Pastor Nate speaks out of Romans 6:1-10 on Death to Life, reflecting on baptism as a public declaration that we have been united with Christ in His death and resurrection, brought out of bondage into freedom, and given a new identity in Him. We also hear briefly from those being baptised as they share something of their journey of faith before heading to the river.

Sunday 2nd August 2026 - This Sunday we take a break from our Formed in the Wilderness series and hear from Rob Westwood speaking on Biblical Hope out of Hebrews 10:23, Hebrews 11:1 and Romans 5:1-5. Rob explores the difference between everyday wishful thinking and biblical hope as a confident expectation rooted in God’s character, encouraging us to grow in hope through God’s Word, prayer, perseverance and the work of the Holy Spirit, so that we can stand firm and live as people of hope.

Sunday 26th July 2026 - This Sunday we continue our Formed in the Wilderness series with guest speaker Johnny Griffiths speaking out of Mark 6:30-32 on Invitation to the Wilderness. Johnny reflects on Jesus’ invitation to come away and rest, reminding us that true rest is found not simply in escape from work, grief or disappointment, but in staying with Jesus and learning His rhythms of solitude, community and trust.

Johnny and his wife, Sarah, have recently established Wilderland Ministries which has purchased a property just outside Callander as a retreat space for Christian cross-cultural workers. Their heart is to provide a place of rest, care and spiritual renewal, helping missionaries slow down, receive the love and goodness of Jesus, and be strengthened to continue in their calling.

Sunday 19th July 2026 - This Sunday we continue our Formed in the Wilderness series. Pastor Nate speaks out of Exodus 17:1-16 on From Complaint to Confidence, exploring Israel’s thirst at Rephidim, the water from the rock, and the battle with the Amalekites. Nate reminds us that when wilderness seasons come, we can move from grumbling and fear to confidence and trust because the Lord is with us, He has provided, and He is our banner.
