The Dr. Oz Offer: Gypsy reveals she was just called into the pod director's office because The Dr. Oz Show sent a formal letter requesting a televised interview. Kristy shuts it down immediately, warning Gypsy that any televised appearance before the HBO documentary airs will "throw all that hard work out the window" and violate their contracts. Malpractice Malice: Celebrating the BuzzFeed article hitting over six million views, Gypsy officially decides to move forward with the malpractice lawsuit against her long-time pediatrician, Dr. Beckerman. She agrees with Kristy and her defense attorney, Mike, that Beckerman’s sudden refusal to speak to the HBO documentary crew is a massive red flag indicating guilt. The 816 Coordinates: Gypsy hangs up to grab a pen from her room. Upon calling back, Kristy states she is actively texting Mike Stanfield to see if Gypsy should call him immediately. Kristy reads off Mike’s professional phone number (816-223-9XXX) so Gypsy can call him directly to finalize the release of her discovery files before co-producer Allison visits his office on Wednesday [18, 243; 19, 250]. Family Updates: Kristy shares details of her domestic schedule, including Mia’s upcoming football games, to coordinate future call windows. Insider From Fancy: This call shows that 2 years before I came on board they were already considering suing doctors. Kristy and Mike are attempting to convince her to sue Dr. Beckerman. The doctor who saw her in both LA and MO. He recently backed out of the Mommy Dead and Dearest production which they feel indicates he's scared and guilty. Funny thing is I do find Dr. Beckerman to be suspicious but not because he is diagnosing things based on no testing. That's not true. He does run testing and his diagnosis are confirmed but what is sus about his files is he states he couldn't get his medical records from LA despite still being listed as practicing at the facility where no damage affected medical records. He would have been the one doctor to know her age and date of birth but his files are riddled with errors. He is constantly ordering equipment that Gypsy and Dee Dee say are lost or broken with no proof. I believe he was facilitating extra equipment requests for Gypsy to sell on the linked eBay account where she was selling medical supplies. JUST REMEMBER "THINGS ARE NOT ALWAYS AS THEY APPEAR."
