CRASH is the fractured unraveling of memory.
A tour de force narrative about family, faith and love set in Montreal, CRASH is a story of The Girl, who undergoes the haunting memories of a past assault as she navigates the loss of a loved one.
CRASH, Pamela Mala Sinha’s debut solo play premiered at Theatre Passé Muraille, garnering 6 Dora Mavor Moore Award nominations and winning 4, including Outstanding New Play and Outstanding Performance by a Lead Actress for Pamela.
With Necessary Angel Theatre, CRASH had two more Toronto runs, toured to Vancouver and Edmonton and had its New York City premiere at the Signature Theatre as part of Soulpepper Theatre’s 2017 tour.
This new production will bring this critically acclaimed play to Montreal for the first time, with a new actress playing The Girl, taking over the role from Pamela.
