Sane company for insane times. We're the reasonable middle—moderate politics, sensible social instincts —and somehow that now makes us the weird ones. Something strange is happening to how we argue, date, marry, work, vote, and raise kids. Ten years ago it would have sounded insane. Socialism is a compliment. Antisemitism is a club. “Pet parents” have replaced actual parents. Nobody’s driving the taxi. A whole generation has 900 followers and no friends. Club Normie is a podcast about the slow-motion weirding of culture, politics, and everyday life. We’re here to say the thing everyone’s thinking, “this is weird,” and then do the harder part: ask why.

  • The Great Unraveling of American Trust | A Legendary Pollster on What Broke, and What's Next
    2026/09/18

Americans don't trust anything anymore, and the man who's been counting since Nixon says he's never seen the numbers this ugly. Paul Talmey polled voters for 50 years, produced hard news for CBS when the whole country watched at six, and worked the Hill during impeachment, so when he says our institutions are "wobbly," listen. He reveals how the primary system quietly handed both parties to the fringe, why half of young Americans cheer socialism but can't define it, and how foreign money in our schools turned anti-Israel into plain old Jew hate. Then he names the three exits from America's debt trap, and the ugly one he thinks we're taking. If you're a normie watching every system you counted on start to shake, this is the episode that tells you what broke, and what might still hold.

    CLUB NORMIE IS FOR:

    • Socially and Politically homeless. Independent-ish.
    • Old-school in the way that used to be… just school.
    • Looking to understand when did normal get so weird?

Strollers with dogs in them. People telling their deepest fears to Chat-Gpt. Socialism is hip. Every relationship now comes with an org chart — who is the victim and who is the powerful. Ah what? This is crazy -- no?

    Host Jennifer Weissmann.

Normie (n.) — politically homeless, socially confused, and pretty sure the elevator used to involve eye contact.

    You're not crazy. You're just a normie.

  • Welcome to Club Normie
    2026/08/26

Normie (n.) — someone whose opinions were perfectly mainstream until roughly Tuesday.

A normie never thought their opinions were controversial. They just kept believing the same reasonable things while the definition of reasonable quietly moved out of state. Strollers with dogs in them. Therapists that are AI. Communism, back and looking great to many. And every relationship now comes with an org chart — who's got the power, who doesn't, and which one you are today.

Normie: didn't change. Everything else did.

Politically and socially homeless at this point. Trying to figure out when normal got so weird. Sane Company for Insane Times.

    Gallup numbers:
66% of Democrats now view socialism positively.
Only 42% still view capitalism positively.

    2026/08/19

You've typed something into ChatGPT you'd never say out loud. So has everyone else. Nobody's admitting it. Host Jennifer Weissmann sits down with Ryan Ochs, a millennial who tells Claude the things he skips in therapy. He's not sorry. He's also not sure it's a good idea. Judgment-free comes at a price. Find out what you're trading for it, why we may be the loneliest generation that feels the least lonely, and what still costs a premium when everything else is instant.

You're not crazy. You're just a normie. Welcome to Club Normie.
