The Fixx formed in London in 1979. Even today, most all the members are the original musicians who launched the band. In 1982, they landed on the U.K. and U.S. charts. Throughout the years, 13 of their singles could be found on music charts around the world. Cy Curnin, the front man for the group, joins show host Ray White in a dynamic discussion during part 2 of our interview from April of 2025. Cy talks about early music influences, the downfall of the original MTV video exposure, the key changes in popular music since the 1980's, and much more! The Fixx's latest album is Every Five Seconds and Cy's latest solo release is titled My Own Worst Enemy. Be sure to listen to Part 1 of our interview with Cy on Episode 198!! In our "showcase segment," we feature the supergroup ASIA led by the legendary Geoff Downes. Their brand new album is Indigo and features several new band members.. An English invasion on this episode from your friends at the CAT!!
