In Father Finns enchanting tale, a story that can be devoured in just an hour, profound lessons linger long after the final page is turned. At its heart lies the transformative power of frequent confession and communion, presented in a way so accessible that even a child can grasp its essence. Meet Regina OConnell, a humble factory girl devoted to supporting her ailing sister. Her selflessness and genuine humility elevate her to the status of a true heroine. As a regular communicant, she strives to navigate the narrow path of faith, yet struggles to fully embrace the poignant prayer of St. Ignatius Take, O Lord, all my liberty, my memory, my understanding, my whole will. Through trials that tug at the heartstrings, Regina ultimately discovers the profound truth Give me but Thy love and Thy grace, for these are sufficient for me. In receiving this divine love and grace, her heart swells with an unparalleled joy. Interspersed with moments of humor, such as Father McNichols’ amusing accounts of his penitents and Regina’s comical aspirations, the vivid scenes of the bazaar and the diamond raffle add a delightful touch to this heartfelt narrative.Copyright Politics, Philosophy, Religion キリスト教 スピリチュアリティ 聖職・福音主義
