In this episode of Built Upon The Rock, Francis Peter dives deep into the scriptural roots of the papacy, exploring Matthew 16, the Davidic prime minister in Isaiah 22, and Christ's mandate to St. Peter. Drawing from Sacred Scripture, the Catechism, the Early Church Fathers, and Vatican documents, we explore how and why the office of the Bishop of Rome serves as the enduring, visible foundation of Christian unity.

What exactly is the Catholic faith? Is it just a collection of ancient rules and rituals, or is it something profoundly deeper?

In our inaugural episode, we lay down the foundation of our spiritual house by exploring the true meaning of the Church and the beauty of a sacramental worldview.

Most importantly, we tackle the central question of history: Who was, and who is, Jesus Christ? From the historical reality of the Incarnation to the profound mystery of His real presence in the Eucharist, we break down the core truths of the Church in a way that is detailed, factual, and accessible to everyone.

Join us for a deep dive into the "why" of Catholicism and the reasoning behind our belief. Whether you are a lifelong Catholic, a new believer, or simply looking from the outside in with honest questions, there is a place for you here.
