    3 months into starting our Mesa location we were doing $20,000/month.

    We had 5 cleaners.

    I was doing everything in the office: scheduling, selling & hiring.

    One week I remember offering 2 candidates the job... I was excited about them.

    I had one more interview that week.

    She was fine. But nothing that got me excited.

    I asked @Katie Manzanares for advice.

    She said: "Hire her."

    I went from excited to terrified.

    How was I going to fill 3 cleaners schedules at one time?

    It was going to be expensive to train 3 people at one time!!

    Then Katie reminded me...

    "She probably wont show up anyway."

    I scheduled an onboarding for 3 cleaners.

    The 2 candidates I was excited about... never showed up.

    The one I wasn't excited about.. I got excited that she showed up to onboarding.

    Today, that cleaner is still with us. Our longest tenured cleaner. Never called out once.

    That one decision taught me the fear of hiring the wrong person almost cost me building the right business.

    It almost cost me a million dollar business.

    All because of fear.
