You don’t need to know everything-but understanding basic tools, terminology, and

safety gives you confidence.

 Don’t apologize for learning

 Speak with confidence, even when unsure

 Use proper lifting techniques and PPE

Construction is direct and fast-paced.

 Feedback is often blunt, not personal

 Learn to separate tone from intent

 Filter noise from useful advice

Thick skin + self-trust = power.

7. Learn the Business Side Early

The most successful women learn more than the tools.

 How jobs are bid

 How schedules work

 How money flows

Knowledge equals leverage.

8. Take Care of Your Body

Your body is your most important tool.

 Stretch daily

 Wear proper gear

 Speak up about injuries early

Longevity matters.

9. You Belong Here

You don’t need permission to take up space.

 You earned your spot

 You don’t need to fit a mold

 You are capable

Representation matters…and you are it.

10. Think Long-Term
