The crowd shouted Hosanna, which means save us. But they wanted to be saved from Rome, not from their sin. When Jesus did not deliver the rescue they expected, many of them walked away. Sound familiar? What are you actually asking Jesus to save you from?

James and John wanted the seats of honor next to Jesus in His glory. They wanted the throne room without the cross. Sound familiar? Jesus had something to say about that, and it changes everything about what greatness actually looks like. What if the most powerful thing you could do this week is kneel down and serve someone with no expectation of recognition? The world has no comeback for that kind of love.

  • What Does It Mean to Be a Witness for Jesus?
    2026/09/10

    Send us Fan Mail

Every follower of Jesus is called to be a witness, not just pastors or missionaries, but everyone. Being a witness simply means telling what you have seen, heard, and know to be true about Jesus in your own life. Your personal testimony is one of the most powerful tools you have, because no one can argue with what God has done in you. You are not responsible for saving anyone. Your job is to share what you know and trust the Holy Spirit to do the rest. The gospel is the good news that God made a way through Jesus Christ to forgive sin completely, and that is a message worth sharing. Start with one person already on your mind and be willing to say, this is what Jesus has done in my life.

It was designed to draw us to Him. Real kindness costs something. That is exactly what makes it a sacrifice.
