Brenda Janowitz is an author very familiar to Club Calvi. Her previous novel "The Audrey Hepburn Estate" was a Club Calvi Readers' Choice in 2023. Mary Calvi talked to Janowitz about her new book, the young adult novel "The Introvert's Guide to Kissing in Europe." It's a coming of age story that may have adults remembering their first love and kisses. The book follows Emily, a high school valedictorian from Long Island who has always worked to be perfect, and who takes a gap year to follow in the footsteps of her grandmother. Along the way, Emily learns to step out of her shell with a new best friend while meeting plenty of boys.
