Sophie war erst 6 oder 7 Jahre alt, als ihre Mama durch Brustimplantate immer kranker wurde. Als sie 9 oder 10 Jahre alt war, sprach ihre Mama mit ihr offen über das Thema. Sophie spricht mit uns über die Wichtigkeit eines transparenten Umgangs mit Themen, wie ihr ihre eigene Diagnose geholfen bzw. ihr Türen geöffnet hat und über ihr eigenes Selbstbild. Und auch Karen kommt als Mama nochmal kurz zu Wort. Krankheit ist nicht nur für die Betroffenen selbst eine Bürde, sondern betrifft das gesamte Umfeld - allen voran die Kinder und Partner.

After careful consideration, we decided to include an expert talk on this topic in our podcast channel. Until now, we have consistently refrained from providing any guidance on this subject. However, questions keep coming in — and the fact is that some explanted women, over time, choose to undergo this procedure once or even multiple times, or women who still wish to have a breast enlargement start looking for alternatives.

To be clear: We remain an organization that focuses on education about breast implants.

There is a German-language Facebook group on the topic of fat transfer, run by two former implant wearers.

Nevertheless, we felt it was important to discuss key medical and technical questions with an expert and make this conversation available to you.

As always: please do thorough research beforehand, and above all, talk to women who didn’t just have this done a few weeks ago, but who can share their long-term results and experiences.
