  • Caroline Leavitt Said WHAT? with @Letsdiscusssomething
    2026/02/24

This week, we’re joined again by repeat guest Chris — better known as @LetsDiscussSomething — the creator who watches Fox News and Trumpworld so you don’t have to.

We dig into the Trump team’s growing desperation ahead of the midterms: the push for the SAVE Act and voter ID schemes, the nonstop “election fraud” narrative they’re resurrecting to justify future suppression, and the chaos of governing by executive order when Congress can’t pass anything.

Plus: why JD Vance has negative charisma (and why that might be good news), and the one bright spot — Democrats have a bench, a message, and a real opening if they’re willing to fight like it.

  • Are there no good Republicans? with @Politiktoker
    2026/02/17

This week on Branding Democrats, Gabby and Ken are joined by Kyle (@Politiktoker) — a nurse and TikTok creator who reposts the clips he thinks more Americans need to see.

Kyle takes us from casting his first vote in 2016 as a “Bernie Bro” to watching the country land right back in Trump chaos, and he doesn’t hold back on why he thinks we got here: Democrats under-selling real wins, over-relying on consultant-approved messaging, and letting Republicans define reality with fake victories and billionaire-backed propaganda.

We dig into the week’s madness — from Epstein and Pam Bondi’s explosive hearing, to ICE violence, to dark money as the root of corruption — and what it’ll take to keep people from forgetting what they’re watching in real time. We also get into the manosphere pipeline pulling young men right, why “tax the rich” is still the most common-sense message in politics, and why Democrats don’t need a “strong Republican Party” — they need a stronger spine.

We end with something hopeful: what a people-powered win like Zohran Mamdani’s can teach Democrats about building real energy, real trust, and real power.

  • Epstein and the Billionaire Protection Plan
    2026/02/09

In this week’s episode of Branding Democrats, Gabby and Ken take on the stories everyone is angry about.

We start with the Epstein files and the growing outrage over how Trump’s DOJ is handling them: missed redactions that expose victims, total protection for powerful men, and a Justice Department that increasingly looks like a personal law firm for the president. If Republicans claim to be the party of “law and order,” why is accountability nowhere to be found?

From there, we zoom out to the bigger picture: the erosion of trust in institutions, the normalization of corruption, and the alarming push to nationalize elections — a proposal that should be setting off every alarm bell in a democracy.

This isn’t just about one scandal. It’s about power, accountability, and whether Democrats are willing to define who they are before authoritarianism defines the country for them.

  • Trump's Brand is Breaking with @letsdiscusssomething
    2026/02/02

This week on the Branding Democrats Podcast, we’re joined by progressive TikTok creator Chris, better known as @letsdiscusssomething.

As backlash grows over federal immigration enforcement in Minnesota, a looming government shutdown, and an economy Trump insists is “winning” despite widespread anxiety, we break down what all of this reveals about MAGA's narrative failure.

Trump is caught between competing interests: a MAGA base demanding escalation and a broader public recoiling from chaos, violence, and instability. His response — pivoting, backtracking, and trying to change the subject — exposes the limits of fear-based governance and the risks of branding strength without substance.

As always, Branding Democrats is about more than reacting to the news; i’s about understanding how narratives shape power, and how Democrats can build a brand that voters are proud to be part of.

    2026/01/20

In this week's episode of Branding Dems, Ken and Gabby sit down to discuss the week's tumultuous events.

We get into everything and in between, from the ICE tragedy in Minnesota, Trump's obsession with Greenland, and how Dems can use this moment to gain momentum through midterms.

Polls are showing that Gen-Z is possibly turning blue(r). How do we make sure this isn't just a reaction to a (very bad) Trump admin? Tune in to hear how Dems can create a long-lasting brand that resonates with voters, whether they're Gen Z or Boomers.

  • “Absolute Immunity” Isn’t a Talking Point. It’s a Threat. (with @HappyAtheist)
    2026/01/13

On today's episode, we sit down with creator Chris, better known as @HappyAtheist on TikTok. Chris shares what pushed him from being a “just a scroller” into making political content when Trump moved toward a second term, and how his calm, clip-by-clip takedown style became such a powerful way to cut through blatant lies online.

Together, we discuss how to buildi a sustainable Democratic base heading into the midterms, including taking cues from fighters like Maxwell Frost, AOC, Jasmine Crockett, and James Talarico. We also dig into why the nonstop global chaos cycle (Venezuela, Greenland, and more) can function as a distraction from what’s happening at home, and why Democrats have to keep pulling the message back to everyday life: healthcare costs, corruption, and billionaires consolidating power.

  • 2026 is the Year Democrats Win.
    2026/01/03

Happy New Year and welcome to 2026.

We are kicking off the year with an unfiltered recap of 2025 and some predictions (and calls to action) for the year ahead.

We discuss how in 2025, Trump --- among the many terrible things he did for our country -- created a U.S. economy, where billionaires keep winning and everyone else keeps paying.

We dig into what Democrats still haven’t fixed (a real, unified brand that people can feel), why “Trump is dangerous” wasn’t enough to break through, and what it will actually take to win back trust before the midterms. The conversations gets into our predictions for 2026, including (but not limited to) fractures inside the GOP, the fight for the House, and Ken’s biggest fear about the future.

If you’re feeling exhausted, angry, or just determined to do something this year — this one’s for you.

Want to join the conversation or be a guest? Email Gabby @gabby@brandingdemocrats.com.

  • Facts Still Matter (Even When the Right Lies Louder) with @FactsStillMatter
    2025/12/22

This week on Branding Democrats, we sit down with Steve—better known online as @FactsStillMatter—a Vermont-based creator and former broadcast/media professional who’s built a daily live show around politics, culture, and one big premise: facts still matter.

We dig into why media literacy is basically a modern survival skill, how right-wing outlets have trained audiences to treat propaganda like “truth,” and what it means when public trust in journalism gets intentionally hollowed out. From Trump’s latest “tantrum” messaging to the bigger structural threat of billionaires and captured regulators (including the FCC), the conversation asks: what happens when the guardrails are gone, and how do we build them back?

We also get tactical about Democratic branding: why “we had the best economy in the world” didn’t land at the kitchen table, what it looks like to become the true party of affordability (healthcare, monopolies, tax fairness, tariffs), and how to win over the small slice of voters that decides elections. Steve shares his plan for a “Do Something” tour focused on non-voters, and the episode closes with some real talk about 2026, 2028, and what it’ll take to fight harder—and smarter—going forward.
