Brad Lidge joins Jayson Werth to relive one of the greatest seasons in Phillies history — Lidge's perfect 48-for-48 season, closing out the 2008 World Series, and what that final out actually felt like in real time. He and Jayson dig into what it was like joining that 2008 team and building a championship-winning season together.

Then the conversation takes a turn nobody sees coming: Brad Lidge is now a working archaeologist. He talks about the transition from closing games to excavating sites, some of his craziest discoveries in the field, what it's actually like excavating human remains, why the Pantheon is still standing after thousands of years, and what ancient civilizations understood that we've since forgotten. It's one of the most unique post-baseball stories you'll hear.

Before the interview, Jayson breaks down whether baserunning is the most underrated skill in baseball, Trea Turner and Kyle Schwarber heating up, whether Bryce Harper should lead off, the Pirates-White Sox bench-clearing “brawl,” and Jhoan Duran's absurd stuff on the mound. He closes things out with Werth the Ask and Win, Place or Show, including a real conversation about whether this Phillies team can go all the way.
