Most couples stay stuck going in circles with conflict because they’re hyper-focused on only 33% of the problem.

Relational conflict isn't solved by figuring out who's right—it’s resolved by realizing there are multiple perspectives converging, and balancing a 3-part equation: Them, You, and Y’all.

In Season 14, Episode 5 of Boundaries and Grace, LMFT Taylor Chandler Walker gives insight into how to develop self-leadership in heated moments, choosing the right way even when it's hard, and the importance of attending to the atmosphere in your relationship so small sparks don't turn into major fires.

  • Nobody Wins When the Family Feuds
    2026/08/24

When relationship conflict plays out like a war, nobody wins — because defeating your partner is sabotaging yourself. You can’t win with someone you’re against. Your partner/spouse is your teammate, not your opponent!

In this episode of Boundaries & Grace, Taylor Chandler LMFT breaks down her 4-pillar T.E.A.M. framework to help you stop fighting and start connecting:

    • T – Timeouts: Pausing so your nervous system can settle (because a hijacked body only creates contention, not connection).
    • E – Empathy: Balancing rational facts with your partner's subjective emotional experience instead of poking holes, proving, or minimizing.
    • A – Attitude: Realizing that while you can't control every feeling, you can control how you approach.
    • M – Macro & Micro: Balancing the day-to-day details with the big-picture vision of who you are together and what you both ultimately want.

Fighting with your partner takes a ton of energy. Whether you're exhausted from the back-and-forth fights or if you’re looking to upskill yourself for the health of your relationships, this episode will help you enjoy the one you’re with —instead of just coping with them.

💬 Which pillar of the T.E.A.M. framework do you and your partner need to practice most right now—Timeouts, Empathy, Attitude, or Macro & Micro? Let me know in the comments!

  • The Inescapable Truth of Relationships
    2026/08/06

Most people handle conflict in ways that breaks the relationship down instead of building it up -- and that's why they stay stuck.

In this episode, Taylor Chandler LMFT shares 3 focus points that will change the trajectory of your relationship, from a downhill spiral to an upward swing:

    1. Observing (seeing what you can take responsibility for)
    2. Taking right action (learning how to love actively)
    3. Handling the gap between what you want and what you have right now (the power of patient waiting)

Whether you're going through a rough season or just wanting to level up your relational intelligence, these practices will positively affect your closest connections for a lifetime.

💬 Which of these 3 focus points feels like your biggest challenge right now—observing, taking right action, or handling the gap? Let me know in the comments!

  • The Disempowered Man - Entitled Woman Dynamic (this is what Kevin Samuels exposed)
    2026/02/09

The Disempowered-Man and Entitled-Woman dynamic is a problematic pair, where the man sinks into a powerless role and the woman takes over. The masculine frame has broken down. The woman tries to become the man she wanted from the beginning.

The catastrophic breakdown of relationships and family in America is layered. One of the major issues is the absence of healthy, present father figures. Men without role models to help guide how they lead themselves and the family has left an enormous void. We also have social-cultural issues such as media glamorizing divorce; weaponoization of the legal system; pedastalizing the woman’s experience, while dismissing and degrading the man’s experience — and more.

If you’re caught in this dynamic and you need help breaking and correcting this pattern as an individual or couple, complete my interest form. From there, I’ll reach out to schedule a consultation.

  • The Overfunctioner-Underperformer Dynamic: Doing Too Much and Feeling Like You're Not Enough
    2026/02/02

This is about the Overfunctioner-Underperformer Dynamic, where one partner consistently carries the majority of the load, while the other partner fails to show up in a way that truly progresses and deepens the relationship.

We’re not blaming the person “doing less” or sympathizing with the person “doing more” — I’m pulling the veil back so you can see the inner workings of what’s happening in this dynamic and I’m giving solutions for what to do about it.
