The Celtics beat the Bulls 124-105 in the Anfernee Simons homecoming game and it, once again, made Brad look like a genius. Vuc was excellent in this one logging another double double but scoring 19pts on super efficient shooting splits. His passing continues to look top notch and with a full practice and film session under his belt, he looks like he has integrated into the system a lot more comfortably than the last couple games. The Celtics historically are 7-1 on Super Bowl Sunday and the only loss they had was the year the Patriots beat the Seahawks in the Super Bowl so I am taking this 111-89 loss to the Knicks as a sign that the Patriots are winning the Super Bowl now. The Celtics beat the Heat 98-96 after being down 22pts!!!!! The Celtics came out of the gate as sloppy as it gets with the starters shooting just 1-14 from the field in the first quarter and find themselves in a massive hole that eventually grew to 22pts just for the Celtics to outscore the Heat by 21 in the 3rd quarter to tie it heading into the 4th! Pritchard, White, and JB were excellent in stretches of this game and Vuc was great in his debut adding his first double double in green!!! No JB or Hauser and the Simons for Vucevic trade isn't official yet so neither of them played either and the Celtics still blew the Rockets out 114-93!!! After falling behind 12-0, the Celtics battle back tying the game at 26 at the end of the first, blowing them out in the second and forth quarters coming away with a huge 107-79 win against the Bucks. The lowest the Celtics have held a team scoring this year prior to tonight was 90 points so they blew that out thanks to 3 straight quarters holding them under 20 points!
