On a cozy, rainy day, Old Mrs. Moody and Catbaloo sit at the kitchen table making things with pipe cleaners, popsicle sticks, and glue, when Catbaloo is reminded of the story of Bosco Bear.
One day, while playing in the forest, Bosco, a little bear with a big imagination, finds a beautifully straight stick.
When he picks it up, it becomes a shepherd's crook, and Bosco is the protector of a whole flock of sheep.
And as he walks along the creek, the stick becomes a fishing pole. He casts his line and catches a WHALE!
And when Bosco stands on a tree stump, the stick becomes a royal scepter. The little birdies of the forest flutter their wings and curtsy, while the squirrels and bunnies genuflect and bow before their kindly king.
Old Mrs. Moody reminds Catbaloo that imagination is a powerful thing. Everything that's ever been made started in someone's imagination.
