Welcome back for another episode of the Booked on Fantasy Podcast! Threshing Day by Rebecca Yarros has finally released and we are here to break down each story for you.

Last but not least is the spare heir himself, Prince Camlaen Aaric Baran. Aaric's Threshing went a bit differently than everyone else's. Every other rider we’ve seen seems to be claimed by their dragon, but Aaric flipped the script and hunted down Molvic and claimed him. We also got a lot of interesting lines and hints that there’s more to Aaric’s lineage and why it matters, plus some ominous ones about his plans for the war with the venin and for taking down his father and his brother, the King of Navarre. We broke it down line by line and offered up many theories, but even more questions. All that and more in today’s episode.

Each of the 13 POVs will be covered in an individual mini episode where we will discuss our overarching thoughts and any key details surrounding events, characters, or cross series easter eggs from Fourth Wing, Iron Flame and Onyx Storm.

Today it’s Sloane’s turn, and this one had us reaching for the kleenex Sloane is not in a good place mentally, and she goes into Threshing Day hoping she won’t survive, consumed by anger and grief over the loss of her brother. We also get a tantalizing scene between her and Dain when he saves her from being roasted by an orange dragon, and with it the origin of “EYES HERE” Daddy Dain. Then comes the emotional punch: we learn that Thoirt is Deigh’s sister dragon, just like Sloane is Liam’s sister. We’re not crying, you’re crying. We broke it down line by line and offered up many theories, but even more questions. All that and more in today’s episode.

Welcome back for another episode of the Booked on Fantasy Podcast! Threshing Day by Rebecca Yarros has finally released and we are here to break down each story for you.

Today it’s Liam’s turn, as we go back to his Threshing Day. Xaden makes an appearance, and Liam is one of the few people in the world who can give him a hard time, which he does about Violet. F*cking. Sorrengail (Ya love to see it)! We also see Liam whittling a figurine of Deigh (awwww), and his overwhelming joy when Deigh appears. The two agree to bond so they can take on the evil of the continent together. Revisiting this chapter is devastating knowing Liam and Deigh’s fate at the end of Fourth Wing, and Rebecca Yarros absolutely gut punches us with the final lines. We broke it down line by line and offered up many theories, but even more questions. All that and more in today’s episode.
