America's on a freefall toward incompetent government — so it would seem, anyway. And the problem is that as government grows, so, too, the bureaucratic frustrations. It's one thing when tax paying American citizens can't get a real human on a government agency's telephone, and instead have to run the gamut of one recorded message after another. But what of when the bloated and inefficient and unaccountable bureaucratic class wants to go to war — or tell the citizens to take a Covid shot and stay home? Documentary filmmaker Michael Pack has much to say about Afghanistan and Iran and Covid and more, all from the perspective of someone who's studied, and made movies about, the failures of government to provide properly for the people.

Can Christians believe in UFOs and so-called aliens and still be Christian? Yes, said Derrick Warfel, author of "UFOs and GOD," and creator of a documentary of the same name. The devil is in the details, so to speak, and of tantamount importance, he said, is to realize that these supposed aliens are actually demonic — they're part and parcel of the descriptions of the supernatural within the Bible.

But then to have to wait years — and more years! — for the well-funded FEMA to chip in the tax dollars to pay for the rebuilds? That's maddening and outrageous. David Richardson, who served as the acting head of FEMA during the Texas floods, and who then wrote the book on the bureaucracy of it all, "Texas Flood 4 July 2025," said you're better off rebuilding on your own if disaster strikes — because you can't afford to wait on the government to help.
