    In this episode, we break down the different types of contraceptives available in Kenya for both men and women, explained in simple language.

    👩🏽 For Women Pills → Daily tablets that stop pregnancy.Injectables (Depo shot) → An injection every 1–3 months.Implants → Small rods in the arm that prevent pregnancy for 3–5 years.IUD (Coil) → A small device placed in the womb, works 5–10 years.Female condoms → Worn inside the vagina, prevent pregnancy and protect from STIs.Emergency pill (morning after pill) → Taken within 72 hours after unprotected sex to prevent pregnancy.

    👨🏾 For Men Male condoms → Worn on the penis, prevent pregnancy and STIs.Vasectomy → A simple surgery that permanently prevents pregnancy (not common, but available).(Research ongoing globally on male pills/injections, but not yet available in Kenya).
