  • Praise Your Way To Breakthrough
    2025/05/07

Hello, Friend. Bob Perry here. Are you ready to seek God’s help to overcome your hardships?

As a young adult, I underwent a powerful transformation through faith. I dug deep into the inspiring stories of men and women in scripture who boldly praised God, even in adversity. This revelation challenged the constant complaining I was surrounded by and profoundly impacted my outlook on life.

Through my continued study of the Bible, I discovered a profound truth: significant hardships often arise in environments filled with negativity and complaints. But here's the key-embrace the transformative power of praise. It has the potential to bring about monumental breakthroughs in your life, empowering you to overcome even the most daunting of hardships.

Acts 16 recounts the incredible story of Paul and Silas, who, despite their dire circumstances, dedicated themselves to joy in worship and singing hymns to God. Their praise was so mighty that it triggered a massive earthquake, shaking the prison to its core and setting everyone free.

Even in their moments of pain and suffering, Paul and Silas made a conscious choice to offer praise to God. Their determination and faith in God's power led to a miraculous response-God shook the very foundations of the prison and delivered everyone there from captivity. This should inspire us all to make the same choice in our own hardships.

So, my friend, let’s commit to praising God. Let’s confidently lift our voices and hearts in adoration to our God, believing that heaven will respond to the sacrifices of our praise.

Jesus, we love you, praise you, and trust you because you are always near us, guiding and protecting us.

Lord, we will not wait for breakthroughs to express our praise and gratitude. We choose to praise you for your goodness, even in the midst of our circumstances. Our act of praise is our faithful, humble acknowledgment of your unwavering love and care for us.

We declare our worship to you as Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End.

In all our circumstances, we honor you as our Creator. We declare our adoration for you!

We praise your character because you are our God:

    - You are our Peace.

    - You are our Healer.

    - You are our Provider.

    - You are our Supplier.

    - You are our Defender.

    - You are our Sanctifier.

    - You are our Shepherd.

    - You are our Waymaker.

    - You are our Resting Place.

    - You are our Righteousness.

    - You are our Banner of Love.

    - You are our Master and Friend.

We thank you, Almighty God, gracious Redeemer, and Savior, for your unwavering goodness. May our praise of joy, halt the enemy and compel your action. We trust you, as our Refuge and Defender. Amen.

  • May Our Work Bring You Glory, Lord
    2025/05/05

Hello Friend, Bob Perry here. Let’s pray.

Father God, we come before you with gratitude, recognizing the importance of daily prayer in our work. The enemy may whisper doubts, but you taught your disciples to pray, “Thy kingdom come, thy will be done; on earth as it is in heaven.”

Father, we acknowledge that seeking your guidance in our business and financial decisions is a profound act of faith, especially in challenging times. The Apostle Paul's encouragement to pray without ceasing reminds us to pray all our petitions before you, and to bring them before you, and you will honor them.

We view our business as a sacred act of worship and seek your help, resources, and blessings in every aspect of our endeavors. Thank you for the opportunities our work brings. May your blessings rest upon our work, and may your power establish our ideas and work. May it bring you glory.

With open hearts, we seek your discernment through the Holy Spirit. We ask for clarity in our decisions and courage to use our gifts wisely.

Jesus, we recognize that life’s challenges can test our resolve. Help us to remain steadfast, finding peace in the storms and strength in you.

Guide us to align our work with your vision, understanding that our success depends on you.

We declare that this is the day the Lord has made, filled with promise and opportunity. We seek your wisdom to light our paths and empower us to serve as your ambassadors.

Lord, grant us the perseverance to withstand every challenge.

In the marketplace, we hold fast to your comforting words, Jesus, when you said,

“Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than them?” - Matthew 6:26.

With unwavering faith, we trust in your love and provision for us, knowing we are cherished in your sight.

    Amen.

  • Red Alert: Special Historical Note and Prayer for Today’s National Day of Prayer
    2025/05/01

Hello, friend. Bob Perry here. Today, we come together in heartfelt prayer to commemorate a truly significant occasion on the American calendar: the National Day of Prayer. This day holds profound meaning and is a symbol of unity across the United States of America, for a nation that says, “In God, we trust.”

The National Day of Prayer is an annual observance that was established by the United States Congress and is deeply rooted in our nation’s history. Its origins date back to the First Continental Congress in 1775, a time when leaders from the colonies recognized the urgent need for God’s help in the face of tremendous challenges. They declared a day of prayer and fasting across the land, understanding that turning to faith would provide strength and guidance in tumultuous times.

This day received official recognition as a national observance in 1952, thanks largely to the vision of Conrad Hilton, the founder of Hilton Hotels. Inspired by his mother’s belief that "prayer was the best investment you could ever make," Hilton aimed to weave the practice of prayer more deeply into the fabric of American culture, reflecting the foundational values upon which our nation was built.

Today, we celebrate the 74th anniversary of this cherished tradition, held each year on the first Thursday of May. I encourage you to join us in this vital act of praying for God’s guidance and blessings, recognizing our deep and persistent need for His divine direction, especially during these challenging times that test our resolve and spirit.

At the inaugural National Day of Prayer in 1952, the renowned evangelist Billy Graham stood on the steps of the United States Capitol, addressing a gathering of 40,000 passionate believers who had come together in unity. His powerful voice filled the air with joy and authority as he prayed, embodying the spirit of faith that this day represents. In his prayer, he expressed the collective yearning for divine intervention and hope:

"Lord, what a thrilling and glorious day to witness believers and leaders in our government praying, humbling themselves, and kneeling before Almighty God. May a renewed hope and courage envelop our fellow Americans in this hour of peril. Mighty God, as thousands gather beneath the majestic dome of the Capitol, we pledge our allegiance to you, imploring for your divine assistance in this critical time for our nation. To the freedom-loving peoples of the world, Lord God, we reaffirm our faith in the God of our Fathers. We acknowledge our need for a Savior from our sins. In humility and repentance, we ask you to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

Then, President Dwight D. Eisenhower, one of America's five-star generals, played a pivotal role in highlighting the indispensable role of prayer in the very essence of our nation after the Great War. His words of prayer, following Mr. Graham's prayer were strongly felt.

"Today, as we gather to pray in the name of Almighty God, we declare that the United States of America is still a nation under God. Prayer is essential, deepening our connection with the Sovereign God who reigns over heaven and earth. Lord God, you are deeply aware of our nation's rich history of faith; once again, we humbly acknowledge our profound dependence on you. O Lord, forgive us. Cleanse us. Heal us. Restore us. Revive us. Amen."

Recognizing our reliance on Jesus cultivates a profound sense of humility and reverence within our hearts. It affirms our faith in the Lord as the builder and defender of the nation.

Resounding with the powerful scripture from 2 Chronicles 7:14, we are reminded that if we sincerely humble ourselves before God, earnestly pray, seek his face, and turn away from our misguided ways, he promises to hear us, forgive our transgressions, and heal our land. This assurance of divine forgiveness rekindles hope and...

  • Jelly Roll, Brandon Lake, “Hard Fought Hallelujuah” and a Wednesday Prayer
    2025/04/30

Hello Friend, Bob Perry here. It has been interesting to watch how Jelly Roll and Brandon Lake's new song, "Hard Fought Hallelujah," is catching the attention of millions of people across the globe.

The song captures the gritty reality of faith while delivering a powerful message of hope and strength. Its emotional depth resonates with millions of listeners, drawing in testimonies from various platforms, including live performances at the Grand Ole Opry, American Idol, and Jimmy Kimmel.

One listener expressed, "I don't consider myself religious, but I connect with the emotions they convey. My heart is more open to God than ever before."

Another wrote, "I am a grumpy, cynical, old man who has witnessed much of the world's wrongs. I just watched a Jimmy Kimmel interview with Jelly Roll. I haven’t heard much about him except that he was a convict who became a singer that found God. I found his honesty refreshing and his personality wholesome and real. I heard them discussing this song and figured, why not give it a try? I had my headphones on because my wife was watching Netflix! By the end of the song, I was crying, shouting, and cheering. My wife thought I had lost it! I got her to pause her TV show and played it back for her; she understands now, and we were both in tears. Something new is happening in us—a fresh hunger to know the God they sang about."

This is just two of many examples of how the song transcends religious boundaries and touches the hearts of listeners everywhere. Come on God! We love this good news!

    Let’s pray.

Heavenly Father, we stand before you, aware of your deep care for people and your desire for all of humanity to experience life in abundance. We commit ourselves to pursuing revival, this move of God, that breathes life, nourishes the soul, preserves our hearts, and restores our spirits.

We seek your grace for repentance, revival, and awakening. You long for every individual to truly know you and to experience the life that comes through Christ. Ignite within us an awakening that brings renewal, restoration, rest, identity, and purpose.

Lord, we ask that you pour out your Spirit upon the young, especially those in Generation Z, born between 1996 and 2012. They find themselves at the crossroads, encountering both revival and retreat. May you illuminate their path, revealing to them the way, the truth, and the life.

We fervently pray for young men to be drawn back to you O God, that they may rise up as modern-day Davids, bold and fearless.

We declare with hope, "Prodigals of all ages, return home to the Father, his arms are wide open, waiting for you!"

Jesus, we yearn for a mighty awakening, where hundreds of thousands in our community come to know you through the overwhelming outpouring of your Spirit.

With eager anticipation, we wait upon you, trusting that you will perform signs, wonders, and miracles to showcase your goodness for this generation.

Lord, draw near to us, as we draw near to you.

We desire an abundance of your presence,

    an outpouring of your power,

    the wealth of your provision,

and the fullness of your providence.

O God, rend the heavens and come down to us. Save us once more, for we remain hopeful and expectant of your divine intervention.

    Thank you, Lord Jesus. Amen.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

  • Prayer for Holy Week
    2025/04/16

Hello, Friend of God. Bob Perry here. We join the Church around the globe, preparing to remember the death and celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior with over two billion Christians worldwide.

As I enter prayer now, I am mindful that my voice is not alone, but part of a symphony of believers across the globe and throughout history, united in the prayer that Jesus taught us:

Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name.

Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

Forgive us our debts, as we forgive those indebted to us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

For yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory, both now and forever.

    Amen.

Through the ages, prayers have been said, recorded, and then reprayed as worship. This practice, known as 'The Liturgy of the Hours,' is a set of prayers that mark the hours of each day and sanctify the day with prayer. It is a way to join our voices with believers across time and space.

Lord our God, Father of all, You guard us under the shadow of your wings And search into the depths of our hearts. Remove the blindness that cannot know you, And remove the fear that would hide us from your sight. We ask this through Christ our Lord.”

Adding our praises to Jesus as we pray the words of the beautiful, Good Friday hymn,

"When I survey the wondrous cross

on which the Prince of Glory died,

my richest gain I count but loss,

and pour contempt on all my pride.

Forbid it, Lord, that I should boast

save in the death of Christ, my God!

All the vain things that charm me most,

I sacrifice them through his blood.

See, from his head, his hands, his feet,

sorrow and love flow mingled down.

Did ever such love and sorrow meet,

or thorns compose so rich a crown?

Were the whole realm of nature mine,

that were a present far too small.

    Love so amazing, so divine,

demands my soul, my life, my all."

Mighty God, we take a solemn journey with you through the silence, suffering, and deep sadness that lead us to Easter morning—the dawn of hope marked by the profound event of Jesus’s resurrection.

From a time of sorrow and grief, we celebrate the Resurrection, this miraculous moment as the cornerstone of our faith, symbolizing not merely a victory, but a stunning triumph over the oppressive forces of sin and death.

Jesus, thank you for your victory, it offers the radiant promise of eternal life for all who embrace you with their faith.

Oh, loving Jesus, we humbly acknowledge and joyfully celebrate your astonishing resurrection. Our hearts swell with gratitude for your incredible victory over sin and death, a victory that fills our spirits with unparalleled hope and joy.

Heavenly Father, we rejoice with all of creation in this blessed truth. We take delight in Your presence, in your Son, and in the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. Jesus is truly alive, and we celebrate his life—a life that is eternal and brings us comfort and assurance, reminding us that we live fully because of him.

    Amen.

    He is risen.

    He is risen, indeed.

    Hallelujah!
