This is not a news recap. This is what happens when you strip the narrative away and look at the damage underneath.

Every week we break down leadership, decisions, and the consequences no one wants to own. The incompetence, the contradictions, and the moments where systems start to fail in real time.

No spin. No protection. No pretending this is normal.

Just a clear look at power, how it is being used, and what it is costing.

  • Trump Put a Price Tag on Democracy
    2026/09/11

This week, democracy comes with a price tag.

We open with the Lindsay Clancy mistrial and the growing concern over what happens when politics, ideology, and outside influence bleed into the jury room. From there, we mark 25 years since 9/11, remembering those who died that day, the first responders who continue to suffer from World Trade Center-related illnesses, and the enormous human and financial cost of the wars and security state that followed.

Then we turn to the expanding war with Iran, rising oil prices, suspiciously well-timed trades, and the growing cost of a conflict the administration continues to downplay.

We also dig into the psychology behind Trump and MAGA, including narcissism, psychopathy, Machiavellianism, the Dark Triad, and how fear, anger, social media, and group identity can shape political movements.

Finally, we get to the midterms. Trump is openly tying a promised $5,000 payment to a Republican victory, while the GOP battles collapsing approval numbers, court losses over election rules and maps, and increasingly competitive races in places they once considered untouchable.

If free and fair elections are the foundation of American democracy, what happens when the President puts a price tag on the outcome?

  • They’re Rigging the Lifeboats Before the Ship Sinks
    2026/09/04

With the midterms two months away, the cracks are getting harder to hide.

Texas is suddenly in play. Trump is sitting on hundreds of millions in MAGA money. JD Vance is being pushed further into the spotlight. Military leadership is being gutted, election rules are being challenged, and the administration appears to be preparing for what happens if November goes badly.

We also go deep on James Talarico and what a competitive Texas could mean for the future of American politics, before taking a hard turn into AI, automation, human longevity, and the possibility that technology changes civilization faster than politics ever could.

Then it’s back to Iran, Israel and Gaza, ICE, Venezuela, the military, Epstein, and the growing list of institutions being tested by an administration that may already be looking for the exits.

  • This Isn’t an Administration. It’s a Crime Family.
    2026/08/28

This week, the corruption isn’t hiding in the shadows anymore. From Texas refusing to extradite an ICE agent facing criminal charges in Minnesota, to a congressional insider trading bill stripped of restrictions on the president, to a Justice Department increasingly aimed at Donald Trump’s political enemies, the pattern is becoming harder to ignore.

We also look at the consequences of Trump’s foreign policy, depleted U.S. munitions stockpiles, new tariffs on Canada, escalating conflict involving Israel and Iran, and the continued economic promises that still haven’t shown up at the grocery store. Along the way, we compare the legacy of Dolly Parton’s philanthropy with the people MAGA chooses to elevate, break down the outrage over Jelly Roll mocking Trump’s claimed weight, and confront how quickly misconduct becomes normal when the people committing it control the institutions meant to stop them.

At some point, this stops looking like a dysfunctional administration and starts looking like something else entirely.
